Tile
Tile as a word is derived from the French word tuile, which is, in turn, from the Latin word tegula, meaning a roof tile composed of baked clay. Today, tiles are created using ceramic, stone, porcelain, vinyl, metal or even glass and can be used on floors, walls, countertops, and other surfaces in need of a durable finish. The most popular floor tile is the through-body porcelain tile which, as the name implies, does not involve a glaze or a layering of different products together to create a tile. The surface, and the interior of the tile is the exact same material. Low maintenance is the end result.
We offer and display a wide range of tiles in our showroom. Virtually every size, shape, style and type of tile are available from Flooring Innovations, and we are continually updating our collection so that our clients have access to the latest design trends and performance improvements.
